Eleanor studied fine arts at The University of Western Ontario, and has also taken courses at Ontario College of Art and the Alberta College of Art and Design. She is a member of The Alberta Society of Artists, the Calgary Artists' Society and an active member in the Federation of Canadian Artists. Eleanor is also a signature member of the Toronto Watercolour Society, and their past publicity chairman.

She currently teaches drawing at the University of Calgary as well as "courageous watercolour' through Chinook College. She has exhibited in many group and solo shows in Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto. Her work hangs in both private and corporate collections.
